Searching indicates : In order for the "Right Click/Install" method to work, in that location must be a [DefaultInstall] section in the INF file and, potentially some other "Default" sections: [DefaultInstall.Service] [DefaultUninstall] [DefaultUninstall.Service]. There are no such sections in this inf file. I'm trying to install the driver\xp-win7-win8\winusb.inf version.
Too, after completing step 4 and confirming I had the Xiaomi driver for Android Bootloader Interface, I rebooted every bit requested by Windows, only to discover the old Google commuter was dorsum.
Any suggestions on how to work effectually this?

A previous affiche mentioned he could non "Install" the android_winusb.inf file and I am having the same consequence.Searching indicates : In order for the "Right Click/Install" method to work, in that location must be a [DefaultInstall] section in the INF file and, potentially another "Default" sections: [DefaultInstall.Service] [DefaultUninstall] [DefaultUninstall.Service]. There are no such sections in this inf file. I'm trying to install the commuter\xp-win7-win8\winusb.inf version.
As well, after completing step 4 and confirming I had the Xiaomi driver for Android Bootloader Interface, I rebooted as requested by Windows, only to discover the old Google driver was back.
Any suggestions on how to work around this?
Hi Catalyst2012,
I've downloaded the latest Mi Unlock Tool v3.3.525.23 and you're right. The [DefaultInstall] (or any other "Default") department is neither present in the xp-win7-win8 driver folder's android_winusb.inf nor in the win10's.
However, it installs fine on Windows 10, every bit seen below:
I guess Windows 10 only needs [ClassInstall32] department to brand an INF eligible for install (that is, of course, if the rest of the file is correct). It does give "The INF you selected does not..." error on Windows vii (and maybe 8?). I've tested it on Windows vii Ultimate x64.
What you lot tin endeavor:
one. Connect your phone.
2. Run driver_install.exe or driver_install_64.exe (depending on your platform) equally administrator present in the extracted unlock binder.
3. Run miflash_unlock.exe every bit administrator, click the gear icon and meet if you lot become "Already installed" in the middle. It may non evidence in this new version. Either way, click the check button to see what it says:
4. If it does say it'south installed or a similar message, click "Agree", sign-in (if required) and come across if it shows your phone as continued.
Thanks.

Hi Catalyst2012,I've downloaded the latest Mi Unlock Tool v3.3.525.23 and you lot're correct. The [DefaultInstall] (or whatever other "Default") department is neither present in the xp-win7-win8 driver folder's android_winusb.inf nor in the win10'southward.
However, it installs fine on Windows 10, equally seen below:
I guess Windows 10 only needs [ClassInstall32] section to brand an INF eligible for install (that is, of course, if the residuum of the file is correct). It does give "The INF you lot selected does not..." error on Windows 7 (and possibly viii?). I've tested it on Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
What you lot can effort:

2. Run driver_install.exe or driver_install_64.exe (depending on your platform) equally administrator nowadays in the extracted unlock folder.
3. Run miflash_unlock.exe as administrator, click the gear icon and see if yous get "Already installed" in the middle. It may non testify in this new version.
