Hello guys, I accept Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm Global variant with MIUI Global 8.5 | Stable 8.v.iv.0 (NCFMIED). I want to unlock the bootloader but MI Unlock Tool (v2.iii.803.ten) cannot recognize the phone (connected in fastboot mode). I have gotten the permission to unlock. I'1000 running Win 10 x64 Creator's Update build 15063.
I've tried v2.2 of the tool and encountered same problem. Tried multiple drivers, plugging phone in/out. Running "fastboot devices" command shows the device is connected. Tried installing Mi Commuter that come with the tool, its setup says information technology's installed but the unlock tool says it isn't. Actually confused right at present.
Any proposition appreciated.

if anyone having issue with mi unlock
just download latest version from the website
you will become around 50 mb of file
you will get driver installer though which you tin can bank check if drivers are installed of not if not try installing them manually from device manager while device continued in fastboot.

A previous poster mentioned he could not "Install" the android_winusb.inf file and I am having the same consequence.

Searching indicates : In order for the "Right Click/Install" method to work, in that location must be a [DefaultInstall] section in the INF file and, potentially some other "Default" sections: [DefaultInstall.Service] [DefaultUninstall] [DefaultUninstall.Service]. There are no such sections in this inf file. I'm trying to install the driver\xp-win7-win8\winusb.inf version.

Too, after completing step 4 and confirming I had the Xiaomi driver for Android Bootloader Interface, I rebooted every bit requested by Windows, only to discover the old Google commuter was dorsum.

Any suggestions on how to work effectually this?

I guess Windows 10 only needs [ClassInstall32] department to brand an INF eligible for install (that is, of course, if the rest of the file is correct). It does give "The INF you selected does not..." error on Windows vii (and maybe 8?). I've tested it on Windows vii Ultimate x64.

Yes, I have. A yr ago. The problem, of course, wasn't the unlocking process but the unlocker not existence able to notice the phone.

Yes, I have. A year ago. The problem, of course, wasn't the unlocking procedure but the unlocker non being able to detect the phone.

Mi unlock tool is also non detecting my device.
Take you unlocked the bootloader using post #17.
